JVAcustoms all started from a dream back when i was a little boy, I wanted to create and make things to make peoples lives more joyous, I Strive to eventually produce my own motor vehicle, but we all have to start somewhere. I Chose metal fabrication and Cad Design. I was a mechanic In the U.S. Army Where I learned many valuable skills and techniques that have made my work what they are today. After reconstructive back surgery i am no longer able to keep up with the physical demands of Automobile Mechanics on a daily basis. So I decided rather than stop doing things I loved to alter my path and do the things i love as a hobby rather than a living. That is when pursued CAD Design, I have been A CAD Drafter for a commercial Glass and Glazing Company for the last 7 years. I have progressed from nothing but shop drawings to being a one man show running the engineering department. I have also down CAD drawings for Seal Arc Welding for their water jet CNC Machine. I now have my own Home Shop that i can manufacture Precision crafted American novelty signs as well as Automotive replica parts that are no longer in production. I have made multiple parts and designs for custom fabrication of automotive parts in the recent past and plan on undertaking the first major build project in the last quarter of 2014.... A 1946 Plymouth P-15 Businessman's Coupe, Frame off Customization. Chassis will come from a 60's era Camaro with front disc brakes. Housing a 1st Generation Chevrolet 350 Small Block and transmission. Interior will be of my own design as well, all from scratch. With vision and drive anything can happen.
